The New Year! 2010!!

Wow what a year 2009 was, I am glad its over and we can start a new year fresh! We have gone through and learned so much this past year it is crazy but has definitely made us stronger as a family and in the church. We have had to really trust in the Lord and all I can say is he has definitely been there for us and helped us through a lot of tough times emotionally and physically. So a little recap of the last year... Carsyn turned 3 in March! Lilyan turned 1 in May! Trevor enlisted in the Army Reserved in April but now we are waiting for him to be separated medically or get the doctor to retest and get his waiver re-approved because of his Gout. I quit working at QT in August after 6 years with them! And I am loving every minute of being home with my kids full time! Some days I wish I had more adult interaction like I did when I was working but that's what my great friends are for!! :) I started doing Daycare out of our home in August and the kids love it! We moved out to Surprise and we love it out here! We have a beautiful home and a great new ward! (don't worry Cactus View friends we miss you like crazy!) Trevor and I also celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in December!! This past year had some great memories and others I am ready to move on and forget!

So you may ask what do we have in stored for 2010?! Well let us tell you! We are going to build up our saving account and food storage! We plan to make more time for each other! And the most exciting plans for this coming year..... you ready..... try for baby #3!!! We are hoping for a boy this round but we will be happy no matter what the sex is!! :) Now for little update on each of us!

Trevor- is still working for Maricopa County Sheriff as a Detention Officer and he is LOVING it! He doesn't plan on going anywhere else any time soon! He may even promote up finally is the hiring freeze comes to an end. He has been keeping himself busy with hunting and shooting! His favorite hobby of all! :) He actually has a pig hunt here in a few weeks that he is pretty excited about! Now lets hope he kills something this year! :) Then he also put in for Deer too but that isn't until October! He also loves playing with the kids and teaching them new things!

April- is loving staying at home! She is so glad to finally be able to do it! She has been keeping busy with our finances, the kids and working out! She is obsessed! She wants to be healthier and in shape for this next pregnancy and baby. She loves spending time with us and her friends!

Carsyn- our little monster! (not in a bad way) He is very opinionated and strong willed. (i don't know where he gets that from) :) He is pretty laid back and goes with the flow kind of boy! He gets along with EVERYONE! He has grow so much in the last year. He is starting to write his name and letters. He will talk your ears off! He is all into learning new things! So we try to keep him busy with preschool like stuff! He loves Transformers and trucks! He loves to get dirty and play rough! He would live outside if we let him. He is ALL boy!

Lilyan- our little princess/terror! She is also VERY opinionated! She has to do things for herself. She climbs on everything. Has NO fear what so ever. She is total opposite of Carsyn. We seriously had it easy with him. You can not leave her alone longer then 2 minutes or she is up to no good! She doesn't talk as much as she should but up until 17 months she had a binkey in her mouth 24-7 but for the last 3 months we been taking it away slowly. She only gets it at naptime and bedtime. So she is starting to use more words! She does sign for a lot of things she wants or needs. She is in love with babies and anything that has to do with them! But then she also loves to get dirty and do everything her brother does! She is a good mix of both Trevor and I. We definitely are gonna have our hands full with her later in life!

We are so grateful to have such a wonderful and healthy family! Our children are well behaved and mannered, we are truly blessed! We hope everyone has a GREAT New Year! We love you all!
