Lilyan's First Solids!

So tonight we gave Lilyan her first bowl of cereal. Formula isnt cuttin it for her so we are tryin cereal out to see if it will help her not want so many bottle so close together. (2 to 3 hours at 6oz). She wasnt sure at first what to do, but then she loved it. I couldnt do it fast enough. :)

Carsyn had an accident

So this past weekend we went to my friends Dan and Melissa's house for a swim, bbq and a little LRC (dice game). well it was getting late and Carsyn was getting tired. Well we were tryin to finish the game we were playing and then we were going to leave. Well Carsyn was layin on the couch drinking his milk and watching tv. The next things I know he is screaming. Dan was coming out of the bathroom right as carsyn was falling off the couch, he hurried over but wasnt fast enough carsyn went crashing into the coffee table. And when I got to him he had a bump that was HUGE. The pictures above are of it the next morning and looks 10 times better. It we so scary we ended up being over there til about 1130pm cause I didnt want to make that long drive home right away knowing he would fall asleep before we got down the street. He was a sport and so proud of it the next morning. I am just glad he didnt crack it open. It looked like it was going to. Where he hit you could see his lil vein pulsing. It was scary.

Silly Carsyn

So tonight we had Trevors family over for dinner, and my MIL brought over these hot tamale things but they are 10 times worse. Well carsyn love hot tamales and thought that was what they were and he was licking it and saying "i like it". Well after a couple licks he goes " its hot" then he starts blowing on it like it was going to cool it off, like when he does dinner. We couldnt stop laughing. Seriously never know what is going to come out of carsyn's mouth but he is always making us laugh. He is so darn cute.

Trip To Idaho! RIP Grandpa Goldman

Sunday August 3rd we loaded up the car and headed to Idaho. We were heading up last minute for Trevors Grandfathers funeral. It was a fun trip but sad one too. The kids had so much fun. The family was excited to meet our new addition and see us! :) Here are some pictures!

Stopping In Utah on the Way back from Idaho

So last week we went to Utah and visited with my sisters and there families! It was so nice to see them! We miss them like crazy. All the kids love to play and since it is not often the cousins see eachother, they are always sad when we leave! I dont have pictures of Logan and Carsyn this time around for some reason (just not thinking) but here is one of Nicole and Lily!

Carsyn a BIG BOY!!

So friday I was home sick, so I had Carsyn wear underwear all day. He kept asking for a diaper but I told him no more diapers, we are going to be a big boy! He was like NO... then ok followed. So with just one accident friday bed time came and I put a diaper on he was excited for that! Well saturday morning he greeted us with no diaper on and he goes "big boy today mommy". So I got up put his underwear on and he went potty on his toilet all day! He even POOPED in his potty. Everytime he goes potty I praise him overly excited so he keeps wanting to do it! I dont even really have to ask him if he needs to go, he just comes to me and say mommy potty or just runs in the bathroom himself. Well Today we got up put underwear on him and then when it came time to get ready for church and go I put a diaper on him and he threw a fit he wanted to wear his big boy pants. Well since he wont go on the real potty, I knew there was no way he would go at church. so I said after church we will come home and put them back on and that kinda helped. Well while at church he told me he had to go potty so I took him and of course he freaked when he saw what toilet he had to use. he kept saying "no, no I am going to fall in" so i just put his diaper back on and when we got home he ran to his potty stripped everything off and went potty. I grabbed his diaper and it was dry, He had waited to come home to go potty. I am so proud of my big boy! So by next weekend I am goin to try to get him to use the big potty, so diapers can be completely done with!! :)

We usually go for walks on Trevors days off at night. Just to get the kids out and get some exercise. Well we usually take my moms dog but they are out of town so we havent been able to. Well Carsyn has been dragging his stuff dog around the house saying going for a walk with my dog. Well this morning Carsyn wanted to go for a real walk and so Trevor took him around the block and of course Carsyn dragged his stuff dog along with them. Here is a picture of Carsyn puppy on the lease. He took it him self! :)

Its Time to start Potty Training Carsyn!

The last week or so, Carsyn takes it upon himself to remove his diaper whenever he pees or even when he poops his diaper. He comes to us and says "me dirty change please" and if we dont do it right then he does it himself. Yes he even removes his poopy diapers. Well I think it is officially time to get him out of diapers if he is doing that. Well this morning when he woke up he came into our room and told Trevor he was poopy and needed to be changed. So trevor got up changed him and put a diaper on him. Well shortly after he got a new diaper on he was already taking it off. Cause he peed once in it. I cant afford to do this change diapers after one little wetness. So I told him no more diapers we are going to be a big boy and go potty on the toilet. Well I had to go to the bank and I took him with so I put underwear on him and he didnt have an accident while we were gone but shortly after we got home I asked him and he said no he didnt have to. Well then shortly after he had an accident. So after I took his wet pants off I have been letting him run around with just a shirt on. He went potty on his toilet 3 times now and one of them was a poopy!! :) I am proud of my little boy! I havent had to ask if he needs to go he just does it on his own. So my goal is to have him fully potty trained hopefully by next weekend! I will keep you all posted!! :)
