My Poor Baby.

Carsyn wasnt himself on Tuesday, I thought maybe it was just him being jealous cause we were babysitting Amaya. Well that afternoon my mom was holding him and she thinks he was running a fever but wasnt sure cause he had been cryin so he could have just been warm from that. Well when I got done feeding the baby I took his tempature and sure enough he was burning up. Well I started the motrin and tylenol rotation and that wouldnt cut it. Then he threw up around 1130 tuesday night. I am not sure if it was just from him having such a high fever or what cause that was the only time he threw up. So Wednesday morning we called the doctor and took him in. He still was running a high fever but no other side affects. So I thought it was his ears. Well we get to the doctors and he just has a bug. His ears, throat and eyes look fine and we just have to wait it out. Just keep giving him motrin and tylenol. Well today he still is running a fever and it now finally breaks for a few hours before it comes back. Carsyn just wants to sleep or be held, and you know he doesnt feel good when he does that cause normally he is on the go and doesnt ever want naps or even be held for to long. He is afraid he will miss something if he does. LOL. I just want my baby to feel better and be himself again.

Play Time

For the next week and half we are babysitting for my manager/friends Dan and Melissa. They have a 20 month old little girl! Carsyn and Amaya love to play together and always have fun! They are both lil fire crackers. Well yesterday was the start of the fun. They had breakfast which they were playin more then eating, then we went swimming and just hung out at home. Today the kids just played inside cause it was way to hot to do anything other then that. So they watched movies and played with all of Carsyn's toys. Well late afternoon Carsyn starting running a fever and wasnt himself. That usually means ear infections. My poor son, I wish he could go with out getting them so much. Well if he feels better tomorrow we are making a trip to the mall to play. I have to pick up my wedding ring and we figured since we will be right there by the play place we would let them play for a while. Well that is what we have been up too lately! Carsyn found sock rattles that were for lily and he put them on his feet and was running all over the house making them rattle. It was so dang cute and he was laughing like crazy the whole time. He is definitely his fathers child. :)

Proud of myself

I cant believe it has been a month since we had Lilyan. Where has the time gone. Lilyan is getting so big. She weights 11.5lbs now and I just cant believe it. She is more alert and follows things around the room with her eyes now. She is starting to really hold her head up and when we due tummy time she just loves it. She is constantly pushing herself up and looks around. She is a strong lil girl! She is sleeping 5 to 6 hours at night and it is so nice! I have been waiting for this moment since she was born. LOL. I am still nursing Lily but we mainly put it in the bottle during the day, and since then she doesnt throw up as much. Not sure if it was her over eating and now we control how much she eats or what, but whatever it is she is doing better so I am happy. The only thing is I am just tryin to decide how long I want to keep pumping, and/or just put her on formula. This weekend has been crazy and not home much so she has had bottles alot but these next two weeks we arent doing much cause I am babysitting for my good friends so I probably will nurse her and see how she does. That will determine what I really want to do before I go back to work the first of July. I love breastfeeding but if all I am going to do is pump cause it makes her less sick then I am just going to do formula once our supply I have built up is gone.


Carsyn is doing good. He is getting so big too. I cant believe how fast they grow. He is still not talking as much as he should but it is getting better. We are getting to were we can almost understand everything that comes out of his mouth. :) He is at the stage now he is always trying to see how far he can get, we are always telling him no and then he just looks at us like what you going to do. The other day he got into my make-up and he thought it was the funniest thing, daddy didnt think so. :) Oh man do I have my hands full. LOL. But I do have to say other then his moments he is a well behave child. Cant complain, I am blessed with two wonderful kids! Carsyn has been so active and wants to be on the go. He loves to be outside but this week has been hard cause it was way to hot to be outside. So we have been doing things inside like going to the mall and playing and doing playdates at our friends house. But when we do go out side it doesnt take long now a days for him to get filthy. And if you know my son that is kinda hard to believe cause he HATED gettin dirty, well the day has finally come where he cant get enough dirt on him! He also loves water. He has learned to turn the hose on in the back yard and play in the mud. He loves to go swimming but hates getting in the pool i know strange but he always asking to go to the water and swim but when we get there he doesnt want in and when or if he does get in its on his term. He is a funny kid. We are so proud of our lil boy!

I got on the scale today and I have lost all but 3lbs of the 30lbs I gained. I am so proud of myself with being healthy this last pregnancy and cant believe how fast I lost the weight doing nothing! Now all I got to do is tone everything up!! :) Wohoo! Trevor is still testing for the different Police agencies here in AZ but cant make up his mind which agency he really wants to work for. One minute it is Phoenix, the next is DPS and then peoria and then glendale and so forth and then back to Phoenix and the circle continues. But we will keep you all posted as he goes along!!

Bath Time

Carsyn loves taking baths, if you even say that word around him he gets all excited and insists on taking one. Well he has been dumping his shampoo in the water to make bubbles so we bought him some bubbles the other day and he was in heaven that night at bath time. He would live in the tub if we let him. He loves putting the bubbles all over his body and makes mohawks and beards, it is so cute.

We also gave Lilyan her first real bath that night too and she loved it. Carsyn had to be there to help. He is such a good big brother! When the time came to get her out she wasnt very happy with us. She got so angry.

Growing like a little weed

Lilyan is three weeks old today, I cant believe where the time has gone. We took her to the doctors last week and she weighed in at 9lbs 12oz. That is 14 oz in just 8 days gained. We have a lil porker on our hands. :) The doctor was really happy with how things are going! And we go back in 6 weeks for another check up and more shots. :( She is still nursing like a champ! The only thing is at night she wants to eat more then she does during the day and it is getting really hard on me. I am hoping here soon this will change cause I am not sure if I am going to be able to take much more of this, especially when I go back to work. I might only nurse a couple more months and then put her on formula. But we will see.

Lily is starting to smile alot. She really smiles when Trevor is holding her and talking to her. She loves her daddy. She also loves when Carsyn comes around and talks to her and plays with her, her little legs get kicking and arms start swinging, it is so dang cute! Carsyn is being a great big brother, he is consistently wanting to hold her or play with her. If she is crying and I dont go over to her right away Carsyn comes running into the room freakin out that the "baby is cryin, mom hurry" so I have to stop what I am doing to go see her. We taught carsyn to pound fists instead of hi-5's and he was trying to get Lily to pound knuckles with him and he got mad cause she wouldnt back. I thought it was so cute!

We had Lily on the floor the other day to stretch and what not and she rolled up onto her side and if she could just move her arm she would have rolled completely over. She has been doing that alot the last couple of days. I swear she is only 3 weeks old and she is already tryin to be mobile. I am going to have my hands full here real soon. LOL. She also is holding her head up really well. I am blessed to have such wonderful children!

This week has been a busy week! Wednesday Lilyan had her first doctor visit. She weighs 8lbs 13 3/4oz and 22inches long. She came down a little but is working her way back up! She is in the 90% for both heighth and weight! The doctor was really happy with her! She is starting to be awake more during the day, which is so much fun to watch her look around and try to figure out what everthing is! She is breastfeeding like a champ, which makes me happy since Carsyn wouldnt. We are still on 3 to 4 hours at night with her, which isnt to bad but definitely looking forward to were she goes longer. LOL :) This weekend my sister Nicole and her lil family came into town for Lilyan's blessing. I am so excited that they came and we could spend some time with them. We miss them alot. The blessing was the most amazing day ever. The spirit was there so strong and she was beautiful and daddy gave her a wonderful blessing. We had our good friends Amy and Randy (who arent members) come with us to sacrament for the blessing and they were really impressed with it and what not. Thanks guys for coming!! It was just a wonderful and beautiful day all together! Then we had everyone over after for lunch and we all mingled and just had a good time.

I just wished my mom could have been there and seen how beautiful Lilyan looked in her dress they got her, I know we have pictures so when she gets out of the hospital she can see them but it isnt the same. I just hate watching my mom suffer, I just wish she could get over it all and be healthy. Okay sorry for that lil break off. So anyways....

We see the doctor again this week, so we will keep you all posted! We love and miss you all!
